Brookville Buzz ~ January 19, 2018

We would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm Brookville PS welcome to two new staff members who joined us in the new year.  Sydney Kells  our newest Educational Assistant has replaced Brittany Childs.  Sydney joins us coming from Limehouse PS, ready to work with our youngest students.  We are very pleased to welcome Mr. Jeff Burrows who will be replacing Sarah Roundell.  Mr. Burrows brings with him many years of French instruction, outdoor education and coaching.

Coming Soon…

  • Escape Rooms in the library.  Mrs. Kennedy has been busy organizing a number of escape room experiences in the library.  This is certain to be a lot of fun and our students cannot wait to test their sleuthing, critical thinking and collaboration skills to try to solve the mystery and escape from the room.  So much fun and an excellent way to embed critical thinking, logic and creativity into a hands-on, interactive activity that all students can enjoy!

Brookville Buzz ~ January 12, 2018

We would like to welcome everyone back from the holidays!  It was so nice to hear our students sharing stories of how they created great memories with family and friends travelling south, enjoying winter activities or just staying warm inside drinking hot chocolate by the fireplace.  2018 surely came in with a cold front!  Parents, please ensure that your child comes to school dressed for the cold temperatures. Our students have happily been enjoying the copious amounts of snow, making snow forts!  Snow pants are recommended for students who enjoy playing in the snow and an extra pair of mittens or socks can come in handy when these articles of clothing get wet.
